March 8th, 2011 - Saham News: Following the news and correction published by Kaleme today that Mir Hossein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavard remain under house arrest, Saham News contacted one of Karroubi's family members in order to inquire into the latest status on their whereabouts. Mehdi Karroubi's family member told Saham News: "Unfortunately to date, we have no news on the condition of Mehdi Karroubi and his wife Fatemeh Karroubi. Based on credible eye witness news, we believe that they are not at their residence and have been transferred to an undisclosed location."
Karroubi's family member added: "Until we are given permission to meet with our mother and father in person and at their home, we will continue to reject any news published in relation to their house arrest."
It is worth mentioning that the fate of Ali Karroubi, who remains incarcerated at Evin also remains unclear.
